New Delhi: Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has tied up with Amazon to provide a voice for his Alexa device. Alexa is Amazon’s artificial technology-based oral command-taking service. Amazon wrote in its blog post that the company and Bachchan have partnered to provide a unique celebrity voice experience.
The company said, “People in India will be able to hear the voice of Amitabh Bachchan on Alexa. For this, they have to buy the Alexa device version with their voice. This feature will be available on Alexa by next year. ”
Amit Agarwal, head and senior vice president of Amazon India, indicated on Monday that Amitabh Bachchan’s voice will resonate on Alexa.
The Amazon Alexa team will work closely with Bachchan and mold his familiar voice to the needs of Alexa customers. In his voice, customers will be able to enjoy jokes, shayari, weather information, quotes and advice etc.
Bachchan said, “Technology has always given me an opportunity to adopt a new way. Be it movies, TV shows or podcasts (radio) and now I am thrilled to create this voice experience by partnering with Amazon and Alexa. “
