New Delhi: Mahindra, a leading domestic automobile manufacturer, has recently launched the XUV 3XO, its latest entrant into the compact SUV segment in India. With a starting price of just Rs 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the XUV 3XO is set to rival Tata’s popular Nexon SUV. The top-end model of the XUV 3XO is priced at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom), offering a competitive edge in the market.
Design and Variants:
The XUV 3XO marks a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the XUV 300, featuring a fresh design, enhanced features, and superior technology. Mahindra has rolled out nine variants of the XUV 3XO, including MX1, MX2, MX3, MX2 Pro, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5L, AX7, and AX7L, catering to a wide range of customer preferences.
The exterior design of the XUV 3XO showcases a bold new look with C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and a split LED headlight setup. The front fascia is complemented by a blacked-out grille with a mesh pattern and a redesigned front bumper. The rear profile is equally striking, featuring a connecting tail light design with C-shaped backlighting. The new Mahindra brand logo and the XUV 3XO emblem adorn the boot door, adding to the SUV’s visual appeal.
Interior and Features:
Inside, the XUV 3XO boasts a completely revamped cabin that appears more spacious and distinct from the previous model. The dashboard is equipped with an all-digital instrument panel and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The interior also includes a new steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, a wireless charger, ambient lighting, a 360-degree surround camera, leatherette seats, and a redesigned center console.
Comfort and Safety:
For added comfort, the SUV features rear AC vents and introduces first-in-segment safety elements such as a panoramic sunroof and a level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite.
Performance:
Under the hood, the XUV 3XO offers three powertrain options: a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 1.2-litre GDi turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter unit, providing versatility for different driving preferences.
