New Delhi: A major plane crash on Sunday in Durgapur, West Bengal has been averted. According to the information, this aircraft was flying from Mumbai to Durgapur. The condition of 10 of the injured passengers is said to be critical. While the condition of another 30 injured is out of danger. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
After this accident, SpiceJet’s spokesperson issued a statement. The SpiceJet Boeing B737 aircraft SG-945, which took off from Mumbai to Durgapur today, encountered severe disturbance while landing, which unfortunately resulted in injuries to some passengers, the spokesperson said. He said, SpiceJet regrets this unfortunate incident and is providing all possible medical assistance to the injured.
