Goa: According to sensational news from Goa, Doctor A KOAN, who held high positions in Delhi Police and is currently Goa’s DIG and IPS officer, overpowered and misbehaved with a woman in a local pub here. At the same time, a departmental inquiry has also started against him in this connection.
According to the information received, this whole incident took place on Monday night last in a nightclub in Baga-Calangut, Goa. Actually, DIG Doctor A KOAN had reached here. If sources are to be believed, he was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. At the same time, he had an altercation with a woman on the spot. Later this woman gave a tremendous slap to the DIG. After this, there was an uproar in the club. It is also learned that the IPS officer was on medical leave. However, there is no answer as to what he was doing back then at the club.
It is reported that this club belonged to a prominent politician of Goa. Therefore, its information also reached the CM of Goa, Pramod Sawant. At the same time, the assembly session is also going on in Goa. That’s why this matter got raised strongly in the Vidhansabha as well.
Then Goa CM Pramod Sawant on Wednesday assured the House of strict action against the senior IPS officer who allegedly misbehaved with a woman party worker at a night club in the coastal state’s Baga-Calangute. On the other hand, Goa Forward Party MLA Vijay Sardesai mentioned the issue in the assembly and demanded strict action against the officer and his suspension.
Here the Goa Police Department has started its internal investigation on the matter. On the other hand, action will be taken on this incident on the basis of a departmental inquiry. A CCTV video of this incident has also surfaced, in which he was clearly seen misbehaving with the woman. It is learned that DIG Koan has also held the post of DCP in Delhi Police.
