New Delhi: The third phase of corona vaccination has been announced by the central government from May 1 across the country. Under this, all people above 18 years of age have been asked to vaccinate. However, doubts have arisen over the introduction of vaccination in Mumbai. BMC Additional Commissioner Ashwini Bhide said this by tweeting. Bhide has tweeted, ‘Vaccination of new age group will start only after the availability of vaccines. It will not start from May 1. However, Ashwini has said about the elderly that their vaccination will continue as before.

Ashwini Bhide tweeted, ‘Wait till we have a quota of corona vaccine. You will be able to get the corona vaccine without standing in long lines. We will give you the necessary details soon. please keep in mind. Wear a double mask while going to the vaccination centers. It has been clear from his tweet that there is a doubt about the introduction of vaccination in the financial capital of the country from May 1. However, Bhide says that people over the age of 45 will continue to receive the Corona vaccine as before. Earlier, Health Minister Satyendar Jain of Delhi has also expressed doubts over the commencement of vaccination from May 1.

Satyendra Jain said on Thursday that there is a shortage of doses of corona vaccine in the capital. He said that at the moment we are waiting for the supply of vaccine from the companies. Jain said that people will be informed when supplies arrive. Satyendra Jain said, ‘We do not currently have a stock of Corona vaccine. We have demanded from the company about the vaccine and we will inform you when it arrives. ‘ Satyendra Jain said that the companies have not yet given the schedule of supply of Corona vaccine.

BMC Commissioner Ashwini Bhide has written, ‘All the senior citizens in Mumbai are urged not to gather in large numbers at the vaccine centers. At the moment the supply of the vaccine is low. So there is not enough available everywhere. But everyone has faith. Vaccination of people above 45 years of age will continue as before. Explain that states like Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh have said that there is a shortage in supply of Corona vaccine. However, the central government says that more than 1 crore doses are available with the states and soon 20 lakh additional doses will be supplied.
