Srinagar: Advocate Baber Qadri was killed in an attack by unknown terrorists in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir on Thursday. Babar Qadri should be admitted to the nearest hospital immediately after the attack, where doctors have declared him dead. It is believed that recently Babar Qadri had expressed his opinion on the Kashmir issue in a TV debate, due to which he was attacked.
A police officer said that the militants shot lawyer Babar Qadri closely around 6.25 pm in Howal area and escaped from there. After the attack, the area has been sealed and many senior officers of the local administration are present on the spot. Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF have launched a major search operation in the area where the deadly attack took place in Babar Qadri.

Three days ago he tweeted a “screenshot” and requested the police in Jammu to register an FIR against a Facebook user who had done “propaganda” against him. In his last tweet, Qadri wrote, “I request the police administration of the state to register an FIR against Shah Nazir, which is propagating about me that I work for agencies.” Such statements may threaten my life. “
