After the removal of article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, this team will gather information about the situation in the state. During this time, apart from diplomatic leaders and other officials, they are also meeting local people. Tight security arrangements have been made in view of the security of the party in the state.

After reaching Srinagar, the group reached Magam in Budgam district. According to media reports, as part of the first day’s program, diplomats will meet leaders of different groups and political parties in the afternoon at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Center on the banks of Dal Lake.

After this, the team will also meet local journalists in the evening. During this time cultural programs have also been organized for foreign dignitaries. It is believed that due to this tour, Pakistan’s propaganda released in Kashmir will get a befitting reply. The special thing is that after the removal of article 370, the elections for the District Development Council, ie DDC, were held for the first time in the state.

Diplomats have reached Jammu and Kashmir for the third time after the special status of the state was abolished in August 2019. The first two groups arrived here in January-February 2020. The government has converted it into two union territories with a view to improve governance in the state, increase development work and curb terrorism.
