Gadchiroli: In the horrific encounter on March 29 in the Khobramenda-Hetalaksa forest complex of Kurkheda tehsil, the police had stacked 5 Naxals, including Bhaskar, a Dandakaranya Zonal Special Committee member of the Naxalites. At the same time, the police started their investigation, expressing the estimate of 4 to 5 Naxalites injured in this encounter. During this period, Kishore alias Gongul alias Sobu Gisu Kavado (38), resident of Ramantola in Etapalli tehsil, serving as the DVC post of the dreaded Naxalite Tipagadh in Katzehri in Dhanora tehsil, has been detained by the police in a critically injured state.

Treatment going on in nagpur
Talking to reporters, Superintendent of Police Ankit Goyal said that after being taken into custody, he has been referred to Nagpur for treatment. A teenager was shot in the leg. Due to which surgery was done on the sub head. Now his health is improving, action will be taken against him after he is healthy. The government had placed a reward of 16 lakh rupees on Naxalite Kishore Kavado.

4 to 5 were injured
He said that 4 to 5 Naxalites were injured in an encounter in the Khobramenda hill complex. The Naxalites did not take these injured with them and left them to die. The injured teenagers kept hiding from one village to the other with the help of their supporters while escaping from the police. Meanwhile, the police got the secret information about hiding in Katejhari village of Kishore Dhanora tehsil. Due to which the C-60 soldiers conducted a search operation and arrested the teenager on 6 April. At 2 pm, he was brought to the district hospital in Gadchiroli. He was referred to Nagpur the very next day.

Kishore was involved in 22 encounters, 8 murders, 6 arson and 6 other violent crimes. Additional Superintendent of Police (Expedition) Manish Kalwania, Additional Superintendent of Police (Admn) Samir Sheikh, Sub Divisional Police Officer (Expedition) Bhausaheb Dhole were present in the letter council.
