FBI agent shoots man accused of threatening to kill Biden

Provo: An agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was shot dead on Wednesday, accused of threatening to kill US President Joe Biden. Authorities told that the accused, who hails from Utah, was killed before President Biden reached the state. Joe Biden is visiting Western America. He went to New Mexico on Wednesday and was scheduled to visit Utah later.

The FBI said in a statement that special agents had arrived with a warrant at the home of Craig Dillieu Robertson in Provo, south of Salt Lake City when the shooting occurred at 6:15 a.m. Sources said that Robertson was armed at the time of the shooting.

Robertson posted on Monday that he heard Biden was coming to Utah and he (the accused) was preparing to take out his camouflage suit and ‘dust off the M24 sniper rifle’.

In another post, Robertson described himself as a ‘MAGA Trumper’, a reference to former President Donald Trump’s slogan ‘Make America Great Again’.
