SC approves 6 lawyers to be appointed as judges of Delhi HC

New Delhi: The collegium of the Supreme Court has approved the appointment of six lawyers as judges of the Delhi High Court. The collegium of the apex court, in a meeting held on August 17, suggested that Advocate Jasmeet Singh, Amit Bansal, Tara Vitista Ganju, Aneesh Dayal, Amit Sharma and Mini Pushkarna be made judges of the High Court.

The collegium headed by Chief Justice of India S.a.Bobde also approved the proposal to make advocate Rosha Kumar Bhardwaj a judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. This information has been released on the website of the apex court. Apart from the Chief Justice, Justice N. V. Raman, Justice Arun Mishra, Justice R. F. Nariman, Justice UU Lalit is part of this five-judge collegium.
