BEIJING: China on Tuesday said it has started the process of return of Indian students stranded in their country due to COVID-19-related visa restrictions and the first batch may arrive here “very soon”. With this, a ray of hope has started appearing for thousands of students who want to come back and pursue further studies.

“We are working extensively for the return of foreign students to China and this process has begun for the return of Indian students,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin told reporters here.
