New Delhi: A rude passenger was offloaded from Air India’s Delhi-London flight on Monday. The aircraft had returned to the national capital to offload the passenger. Sources gave this information. Sources said that there were about 225 passengers on flight AI 111. The aircraft was brought back to Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) as there was an unruly passenger on board. He told that this rude passenger was dropped at the airport and after that, the plane took off for London Heathrow.

Air India’s Delhi-London (AI-111) flight witnessed a ruckus when an unruly passenger started quarreling with the crew members. The ruckus increased so much that the plane had to return. The company issued a statement on the matter saying, “Air India flight AI 111 from Delhi to London was immediately recalled due to misbehavior by the passenger. The passenger continued to misbehave without complaining or registering it. The passenger also assaulted two members of the cabin crew. On landing, the passenger was handed over to the security personnel. An FIR has also been registered with the police.”

Let us tell you that earlier in February, Air India’s Chief Executive Officer Campbell Wilson had said that the airline has changed its drinking policy after incidents of the bad behavior of passengers during the flight in recent times. He said that the airline has taken strict action in such cases. Last month, a passenger on an Air India flight from London to Mumbai was caught smoking in the toilet of the flight and was booked for unruly behavior.
