New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made a big disclosure of the nefarious activities being done by Pakistan to promote separatist forces in India. According to the NIA, under the anti-India agenda, the government of Pakistan is giving MBBS and engineering courses and other educational institutions and scholarships to make them militant and separatist by promoting jihadi and separatist mentality among the students of Jammu and Kashmir.

The NIA, in its charge sheet filed in connection with the Terror Funding, has revealed that there is a tripartite alliance between the terrorists, the Hurriyat Conference and the Government of Pakistan, which is trying to build new plants of Kashmiri doctors and engineers who are inclined towards Pakistan. Is mobilized in Radical Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and moderate Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Maulvi Omar Farooq and many of his other colleagues have been arranging for the admission of Kashmiri students in Pakistan. On his recommendation, Kashmiri students and others used to get visas for Pakistan easily.

During the investigation of NI, it has been found that most of the students who have gone to study in Pakistan are having some kind of attachment with relatives or active terrorists of a former terrorist. Apart from this, Hurriyat leaders have also been charging huge amount from them under the guise of getting children of some influential families of Kashmir to get admission in medical and engineering colleges in Pakistan. A large part of this money has been spent in terrorist and separatist activities.

The NIA told the court that some documents have been found during the search of the house of separatist leader Naeem Khan. This document was related to the recommendation of a Kashmiri student in Pakistan to get admission for MBBS. In it, a student was told that he and his family are pro-Pakistan and he is committed to the independence of Kashmir.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also taken cognizance of this matter. He directed the investigating agencies to take action on this entire network. Only after this, there has been a decrease in the number of students going from Jammu and Kashmir to Ghulam Kashmir or Pakistan for MBBS or engineering studies. After the repeal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, this number has remained nominal, because the shop for admission of Hurriyat leaders for studies has closed.

The conspiracy by the Hurriyat Conference, the terrorists and the Pakistan government to use Kashmiri students as a weapon was fully known to the then power system of Jammu and Kashmir, but no one took any step to stop it. Many students who had gone to Pakistan had also told the investigating agencies about forcing them to encourage the Pakistani agenda in Kashmir.

Many students came to Kashmir and told the concerned security agencies about the issues related to justifying Pakistan’s side regarding Kashmir. About a year ago, security agencies told that about 700 students from Jammu and Kashmir have gone to various medical and engineering colleges in Pakistan. Most of these students belong to the Kashmir Valley.

In August 2020, the Medical Council of India (MCI) had issued a notification clarifying that no college in slave Kashmir is valid by it. Therefore, students coming from there do not have the right to practice or get government employment anywhere in Jammu and Kashmir or India.

About three years ago, a dispute arose in Jammu and Kashmir regarding obtaining MBBS degree in Ghulam Kashmir. After this, the matter reached the court and while giving relief to the student named Hadia Chishti, the court had asked the Ministry of External Affairs to take cognizance of her case. Slave Kashmir is also a part of India.
