New Delhi: HMD Global has launched its new 5G smartphone Nokia X30 in India. The handset was launched globally in September. The company claims that the frame of the phone is made of 100% recycled aluminum. The back cover is made of 65% recycled plastic. The price of the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant of Nokia X30 has been kept at Rs 48,999. The smartphone comes in Cloudy Blue and Ice White color options.

Pre-booking of the handset has started on the company’s official site and on Amazon. The sale of the Nokia X30 5G will start on February 20. The smartphone features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, offering full-HD+ resolution. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus has been used for protection. The maximum brightness of the phone is 700 nits. For chipset speed and multitasking, the Nokia X30 5G features a Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor with Adreno 619L GPU for high performance. This smartphone works on Android 12 operating system.

50MP primary camera
The smartphone has been launched with the Android 12 operating system and stock Android UI. The phone will continue to get 3 OS upgrades and monthly security updates for 3 years. A dual camera setup is available on the rear panel of the phone. It has a 50MP primary camera and a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera. A 16MP front camera has been provided for selfies and video calling. The phone has a 4200 mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charge. The phone has 5G, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1 and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security along with a USB Type-C port.
