After the video went viral, Nagpada police arrested three people named Vinod Argil, Raju Argyle, and Satish Lad, accused in this case, and registered a case against them. In fact, without the consent of the woman, an advertisement was placed in front of her shop, protesting, that the man abused, pushed, and beat up the woman. Activists led by Vinod Argyle and others of MNS, angered by her categorical refusal, abused her and then beat her till she fell on the pavement.

As soon as the video of the incident went viral, the police of Nagpada police station took action. Nagpada police have detained three persons named accused Vinod Argil, Raju Argyle, and Satish Lad and registered a case against them. At the same time, the police have registered a case under section 323,337,506 504,509 of IPC criminal section 7.
