Mumbai: The teaser of Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming psychological thriller ‘Joram’ has been released today, giving a glimpse of the actor’s intense performance as a father who is on the run with his little baby girl to escape the ghosts of his past and the forces that want him dead. The film, directed by Devashish Makhija, is slated to hit the big screens in theaters on December 8, 2023.
Bajpayee shared the teaser of the film on his X account and wrote, “Existence is a race, and he is running from his past. Prepare yourself for a great thriller! ‘Joram’ received love from all over the world and is all set to continue his winning streak. The teaser is out now. Will be released in theaters worldwide on December 8.” The teaser shows Bajpayee as Dasru, a man who is haunted by his past and is pursued by a cop, played by Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and a vengeful mother, played by Smita Tambe. The film also features Megha Mathur as Bidesi, a woman who helps Dasru and his daughter, Joram, along the way. Tannishtha Chatterjee and Rajshri Deshpande have special appearances as Vaano and Mukta, respectively.
