According to information, Amritpal Singh was hiding in a gurudwara near Nakodar in Punjab. In view of the seriousness of the matter, the Punjab government has stopped internet service in the state till 12 noon tomorrow i.e. Sunday.

Earlier today, the Punjab Police arrested 6 associates of Amritpal Singh. The arrest took place at Shahkot Malasia in Jalandhar, while Amritpal Singh himself fled from the spot. The police was following Amritpal Singh since then, and now he has also been arrested soon. However, earlier today, Amritpal’s colleagues shared a video on social media asking Amritpal’s supporters to reach the live location as soon as possible.

In fact, before this, the police had information that today Khalsa Waheer was to be taken out from Shahkot Malsian in Jalandhar on behalf of Amritpal Singh. A large number of supporters were gathering at Gurdwara Sahib.

Significantly, at present 3 cases are registered against Amritpal Singh. Two of these are in Ajnala police station. The police had been making preparations for a long time to arrest him. Last month, Amritpal and his supporters had barged into the Ajnala police station on the outskirts of Amritsar city, brandishing swords and pistols.
