New Delhi: Indian Air Force Wing Commander Vikrant Uniyal has created a new record by conquering Mount Everest on 21 May. At the same time, Vikrant hoisted the national flag on the top of Mount Everest and also sang the national anthem. According to news agency ANI, this difficult campaign started on April 15 this year in Kathmandu, Nepal. In which team members from all over the world were involved. Let us tell you that, Wing Commander Vikrant Uniyal is a qualified mountaineer. He is trained at Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi, Army Mountaineering Institute, Siachen and National Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Arunachal Pradesh.

Public Relations Officer Group Captain Sameer Gangkhedkar said that the Everest expedition is a unique journey of mythical and epic proportions and requires patience, stamina, mental fortitude, and strong will. Wing Commander Vikrant Uniyal conquered the summit on 21 May and hoisted the Indian flag on top of Mount Everest apart from singing the national anthem.
