New Delhi: The second wave of Corona has created a furor in the country. Every day, the number of new Corona patients is going beyond 4 lakhs. Talking about the last 24 hours, 4 lakh 1 thousand 228 new patients of Corona have appeared in the country, whereas the figure of Corona Death has crossed 4 thousand for the first time. In the last 24 hours, 4191 people have died in the country from Corona, which is the biggest record so far.
The second wave of corona in the country has created a fury. Every day the death toll in the country is increasing. 25 days ago, where the number of corona patients was 1 thousand, now the death toll has crossed 4 thousand. Earlier on April 13, the number of deaths had crossed 1 thousand, while the number of 2 thousand had crossed the figure of 20 April and 3 thousand on 27 April. Within the last 10 days, the death toll from the corona has crossed 4 thousand.
Maharashtra seems to be the most affected by Corona in the country. With the arrival of 54,022 new cases of Covid-19 in Maharashtra on Friday, the number of infected people has increased to 49,96,758. According to the Health Department, 898 patients have died due to infection. So far 74,413 people have died in the state. With 37,386 more patients being discharged from various hospitals, 42,65,326 people have recovered from the infection so far. In Mumbai, there were 3040 new cases of infection and 71 more patients died. Pune, Nashik, Kolhapur, and Sangli districts are getting more cases of infection from rural areas than from the four cities.
13,628 new cases of corona reported in Chhattisgarh
In Chhattisgarh, the total number of infected people has increased to 8,30,117 after 13,628 cases of Coronavirus infection were reported during the last 24 hours. On Friday, 414 people have been discharged from hospitals in the state after becoming infection-free, while 12,625 people have completed the period of segregation. 208 coronavirus infectives have died in the state.
84 people died due to coronavirus in Madhya Pradesh
In Madhya Pradesh, 11708 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported on Friday and with this, the total number of people found infected with this virus till now reached 6,49,114. In the last 24 hours in the state, 84 more people have died due to this disease in the state, after which the number of people who died due to this disease has risen to 6,244 in the state so far.
372 killed, 28,076 newly infected due to corona in UP
In Uttar Pradesh, 372 patients died of corona infection on Friday, and while 28,076 new cases of infection were reported in the state. Principal Secretary of Health Department Alok Kumar said on Friday that 372 corona infected have died in the state in the last 24 hours and so far 14,873 people have died due to this infection. After this, the total number of infected people has increased to 14,53,679.
