New Delhi: The first session of the engineering entrance exam ‘JEE-Main’ has been postponed to June, while the second session has been postponed till July. The National Testing Agency (NTA) gave this information on Wednesday.
The first session was scheduled to be held on April 21, 24, 25, and 29 and on May 1 and 4, 2022. Now it will be held from 20 to 29 June. Similarly, the second session which was to be held from May 24 to 29 will now be held from July 21 to 30.
“NTA has decided to reschedule the dates for the first and second session of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Main on the basis of several representations received from the candidates,” the agency said.
This is the second time that the schedule of the first session of this important examination has been changed. Last month also NTA had rescheduled it, as its dates were clashing with the class 12th board exams.
