Greater Noida: Formula One racing is going to happen in the coming month of September at Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Preparations are being made to conduct the Moto GP bike race. A new world record will be set by the Moto GP bike race to be held in India. The track of the Formula One car race is more than five kilometers long. It is being prepared for bike racing. A bike race will be organized at Buddh International Circuit from 22 to 24 September.
About one lakh people will be able to sit and enjoy watching the Moto GP bike race at Buddh International Circuit. Minor changes are being made at the Buddh International Circuit for the Moto GP race. The racing track is being painted. An estimated Rs 5 crore will be spent on the renovation of the Moto GP race. Half the tickets sold in no time
More than 35 percent of the tickets for the Moto GP race to be held in September have been sold within four days. In this, tickets ranging from Rs 800 to Rs 40,000 are being sold. Apart from this, tickets of Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 lakh will be sold through online mediums. Work will be done at 14 places on the entire race track. 116 bike riders from 45 teams will show their speed on the Buddh International Circuit. Riders will run superbikes at a speed of 360 kilometers per hour on the racing track.
State’s Industrial Development Commissioner Manoj Kumar Singh has inspected Buddha International Circuit in view of the Moto GP race. During this, he was given a presentation regarding the changes to be made here. Teams from IIT Roorkee and CRRI Delhi were also present with them.
About Buddh International Circuit
Officially inaugurated in 2011, the Buddh International Circuit was built with an investment of Rs 2,000 crore and hosted Indian Grand Prix from 2011 to 2013. Since the track was originally made for hosting Formula 1 races, it will need some tweaks to make it suitable for motorcycle racing.
