New Delhi: The United Kisan Morcha (SKM) said on Monday that if the government does not fulfill its demands, including legislation regarding Minimum Support Price (MSP), loan waiver, and pension, then it will be forced to launch another movement. Farmer leader Darshan Pal said that a 15-member delegation of SKM met Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar at Krishi Bhavan in the afternoon and handed over the demand letter. Addressing the farmers gathered at Ramlila Maidan here, he said, There are many unresolved issues and more movement Is required.
He said that we will call another meeting in Delhi on 30 April. I request all farmer unions to take out rallies in their respective states and organize panchayats for the meeting. “We don’t want to agitate daily, but we are forced to do so,” he said. If the government does not pay attention to our demands, we will start another movement, which will be bigger than the movement against agricultural laws.
Pal said that the demands included a law for MSP, full loan waiver, pension, crop insurance, withdrawal of cases registered against farmers, and compensation to the families of farmers killed in the agitation against the repealed agricultural laws. is included. The farmers also demanded the sacking and jailing of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra and compensation for crop damage due to hailstorms and unseasonal rains. Pal said Tomar told the delegation that power subsidy given to farmers has been exempted from the Electricity Act.

The farmer leader said, We also discussed the issue of legal guarantee for MSP with the minister. Tomar said that he would personally intervene in the matter to withdraw the cases registered against the farmers and provide compensation to the families of the deceased farmers.
