Some people say that the new virus in the country has knocked. Amid these questions, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has also released guidelines on this. Experts at ICMR have said that the cause of continuous cough and fever in India for the last two-three months is ‘H3N2’ as ‘Influenza-A’. The ICMR is keeping a close watch on the diseases caused by the respiratory virus. Meanwhile, ICMR and Indian Medical Association (IMA) have alerted people.
More impact on young children and the elderly
In many parts of India, influenza cases have been increasing rapidly in the last few months with prolonged illness and prolonged cough. After struggling with the coronavirus, now the increase in these cases has created fear among the general public. The most impact of this virus is being seen in young children. Also, elders above 60 years of age whose immunity decreases or who are victims of diabetes, asthma, or heart disease.
Fever can last for 5 to 7 days
The IMA said that seasonal fever can last from 5 to 7 days. Nowadays seasonal fever and cough are spreading a lot. Patients have been facing a lot of trouble for the last few months. The IMA committee said that the fever can end in 3 days, but the cough may remain intact for 3 weeks. The H3N2 virus causes more hospitalizations than other sub-hospitals. Experts say that for the last two-three months it has been widely in circulation all over India.

Know what to do and what not to do
- Wash your hands with water and soap, and wash regularly.
- Wear face masks and avoid going to crowded places.

- Stay hydrated and consume many fluids.
- In case of fever and headache, take paracetamol.
- Avoid shaking hands.
- Do not spit in public places.
- Do not sit close to others and eat.
