67,622 crores increase in market capitalization of 7 top companies of the country

New Delhi: The market capitalization of seven of the country’s top 10 valued companies increased by Rs 67,622.08 crore last week. HDFC Bank and ICICE Bank were the biggest gainers in this. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL), HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, and ITC were the gainers, while market valuations of Reliance Industries Ltd., Infosys, and Bharti Airtel declined. HDFC Bank’s market capitalization (MCAP) jumped by Rs 28,183.55 crore to Rs 5,97,051.15 crore last week.

ICICI Bank’s market valuation increased by Rs 21,839.67 crore to Rs 2,55,929.73 crore. HUL’s MCAP increased by Rs 6,848.94 crore to Rs 5,17,641.12 crore. Similarly, Kotak Mahindra Bank’s market capitalization rose by Rs 6,241.25 crore to Rs 2,65,097.18 crore while HDFC’s market valuation rose by Rs 1,858.87 crore to Rs 3,22,872.98 crore.

Software company TCS’s market capitalization rose by Rs 2,157.62 crore to Rs 8,43,611.13 crore. At the same time, ITC’s mCap rose by Rs 492.18 crore to Rs 2,42,280.13 crore. In contrast, the market capitalization of Reliance Industries declined by Rs 20,507.97 crore to Rs 13,19,705.53 crore. Bharti Airtel’s MCAP declined by Rs 4,855.45 crore to Rs 2,83,688.98 crore and Infosys’ market valuation declined by Rs 1,972.11 crore to Rs 4,04,151.80 crore. The 30-share BSE Sensex gained 557.38 points or 1.47 percent in the previous week.
