New Delhi: IPL has a lot of craze in India. People are already eager for Tata IPL 2023 (IPL 2023) to be held next year. The auction will begin at 2:30 PM IST on December 23 in Kochi.
For information, let us tell you that this time a total of 991 cricketers, including 714 Indians, had registered for the mini-auction. Out of which all 10 franchises shortlisted 369 players. But there was a demand to include 36 additional players as well.
At the same time, big cricketers like Ajinkya Rahane, Mayank Agarwal, Joe Root, Kane Williamson, Shakib Al Hasan, Ben Stokes, Ishant Sharma, Sam Karan, Liton Das, Jason Holder are included in this list of players. Till last season, Williamson captained Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mayank Agarwal captained Punjab Kings. But, this time both of them have been released by their franchise.
Out of the 405 players shortlisted by the BCCI for the auction, 273 players are Indians while 132 players are foreigners. On which the franchisees will bid. Out of these 132, 4 players are from the Associate countries. At the same time, there are 119 capped players among these players. While 282 players are uncapped.

All the 10 franchises participating in the auction have only 87 slots available to buy players. That is, the maximum number of players can be bought. Of these, there are 30 slots for foreign players.
