According to the latest tweet by ANI, two tourists have been rescued from the Timber Trail (cable-car) present in the Solan district. At the same time, every effort is being made to save 9 people. News agency ANI has also shared a video on Twitter.
Confirming this, SP Solan Virendra Sharma has informed that, at around 1:30 pm, the cable car got stuck in the middle due to a technical problem in Parwanoo’s TTR. Tourists trapped in the cable car have told that they were going to the resort, but due to technical problems, the Timber Trail got stuck here. Though efforts are being made to save them, they are not in a position to land.
According to the information, the cable car is stuck for more than one and a half hours due to a technical fault at the TTR resort of Parwanoo in Solan. Solan MLA Col Dhani Ram Shandil has said that soon all the passengers will be evacuated safely, for which the help of the army will be taken.
Let us tell you that a similar incident happened in October 1992 in the Parwanoo area of Kasauli Tehsil. At that time the lives of ten people were stuck in the air. Even today, when people remember that time, they shudder. At that time, efforts are being made to save ten people for three days. Out of which one person also died. At that time, Army and Air Force personnel saved the lives of people trapped at a height of hundreds of feet.
