New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 3,377 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in India. This is the second consecutive day when more than 3000 new cases of coronavirus infection have come. Earlier on April 28, 3,303 new cases of corona infection were registered in the country. In the last 24 hours, 2496 people have become free from corona infection, while 60 people have died due to this virus. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that 4,73,635 sample tests were done for coronavirus infection in India on Thursday, so far a total of 83,69,45,383 sample tests have been done.
The number of active cases of corona in the country is now 17,801. According to official figures, this virus has killed 5,23,753 people in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, 22,80,743 doses of the corona vaccine have been administered in India. With this, the number of corona vaccine doses so far in the country has reached 1,88,65,46,894. The maximum number of new cases of corona infection is coming from the capital Delhi. More than 1000 new cases of Kovid-19 have been found here for the 7th consecutive day. On Wednesday, 32,248 samples were tested in Delhi.
In the last 24 hours, 1490 new cases of corona infection have been reported in Delhi, while 1070 patients have been cured. At the same time, 2 deaths have been registered in Delhi due to corona infection in the last 24 hours. The active cases of corona in the national capital are now 5,250. According to the Health Bulletin of the Delhi Government, so far 18,79,948 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the state.
At the same time, the number of dead reached 26,172. In Haryana, 580 new patients of coronavirus infection were found in the last 24 hours, and out of these, 473 infected are from Gurugram only. During the last few weeks, Gurugram and Faridabad, adjacent to the Delhi border, are witnessing an increase in the cases of infection. There has also been an increase in new cases of corona in Noida and Ghaziabad.
