Mumbai: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Monday said he is extremely proud that his grandson Agastya Nanda has started shooting for Netflix’s live-action musical film “The Archies”. This will be Agastya’s first film.
Agastya, son of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and businessman Nikhil Nanda, will be seen as the favorite Archies Andrews in the Zoya Akhtar directorial. Bachchan shared a fan’s tweet on his Twitter handle which had a picture of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor with Agastya.
Expressing happiness, 79-year-old Big B wrote, “Agastya… a new chapter in your life is beginning and there can be no greater happiness for us than this. My blessings, my love, and my best wishes (are with you)… do better… and keep flying the flag.”
‘The Archies’ is being produced under Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s production house ‘Tiger Baby’.
