New Delhi: According to the news, food delivery apps Zomato and Swiggy have been down for some time in many big cities today i.e. on Wednesday. It is worth noting that these apps were down today at lunchtime when the number of orders is usually high. Due to this, many users shared screenshots of the app on the microblogging site Twitter, saying that they are unable to order their food.
It is also being told that while ordering food today, ‘Something Went Wrong’. Please try again letter.’ This message was visible everywhere. While responding to a complaint from a customer, Zomato Care also apologized to him for the inconvenience caused by the app down. At present, Zomato has called it a temporary glitch.
It is worth noting that there are allegations against Swiggy and Zomato that these companies give more importance to certain restaurants only. Its direct loss is also caused to other competing restaurants and due to this controversy, CCI has also sent a notice to Swiggy and Zomato.
