Mumbai: The evergreen songs of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar are still heard as much as they were heard earlier. Of course, the reason for this is her very melodious voice, which she used to practice and work hard to perfect. Music was created in the atmosphere of the house. Lata Ji’s father Dinanath Mangeshkar was a famous musician. All the sisters and brothers in the family used to take music lessons.

Everyone knows that Lata Mangeshkar is the sister of talented singer Asha Bhosle. Apart from Asha, Lata Mangeshkar has two more sisters, whose names are Usha Mangeshkar and Meena Mangeshkar. She is also a singer who is not as famous as Asha and Lata but has sung many Indian songs. Lata Ji has a brother, whose name is Hridaynath Mangeshkar. He is also associated with the world of music.

Lata used to practice throughout the day to hone her singing. When Lata started singing, then the technology like today did not exist. Then different recordings were done to create effects in the songs. Hearing Lata’s famous song ‘Aayega Aane Wala’, it seems that fluctuations have been created with the help of some technique, but when this song was recorded, the technology of sound recording and mixing was not developed.

Songs like this were recorded in olden times
Initially, listening to the song, it seems that the voice is coming from afar. After listening to a few lines, it seems that the voice is coming from nearby. Singers at that time had to do a lot of vocal meditation to create such an effect and Lata was an expert in doing so. Lata had said in an interview that during the recording of this song, the microphone was placed in the middle of the room. He had to reach the mike while singing from one corner of the room. The timing of the song and reaching the mic should have been so precise that when they reached the mic, the ‘Aayega Aane Wala’ part of the song would start.

When Lata used to do Riyaz all-day
After doing this many times, the correct recording of this song was done. Khemchand Prakash gave music to these songs. This song is from the movie ‘Mahal’, which was produced by Savak Vacha. He thought that this song would not work, but the opposite happened. Lata became very famous for this song. She has sung dozens of such songs, for which she used to do Riyaz all day, then only those songs could be recorded.

Lata Mangeshkar remembered this lesson of her father for life
According to media reports, whenever Lata used to sing a song, she used to remember the lessons of her father and guru Master Dinanath Mangeshkar. Dinanath used to tell his little daughter Lata that while singing, think that you have a better song than your father or guru. Lata remembered and adopted this lesson of his life.
