New Delhi: The central government is working continuously to increase the convenience of the consumers. In this episode, now Rasai gas consumers (LPG customers) have got the freedom to choose their own gas distributor for LPG cylinder refill. Let us tell you that till now customers can fill gas cylinders only from the designated distributor. Now Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has started a new system for booking LPG cylinders. Under this, customers can take advantage of refill portability whenever they do not like the service of LPG gas distributors like telecom service providers. For this, Indian Oil has created a mobile app named ‘One App’.
If the rating is bad, customers will be able to change the distributor at the time of booking
Apart from the app, Rasai Gas consumers can also choose LPG cylinder distributors by visiting the official website of Indian Oil at cx.indianoil.in. After clicking on this link, customers can choose the refill distributor according to their choice. On both the app and the website, customers will get to know the complete list of distributors in their area as well as the ratings given by other customers regarding the service. In such a situation, if the rating of the distributor deteriorates, then the customer will be able to easily choose another LPG distributor. According to IOC, the customer will also be able to select the preferred distributor at the time of booking. Let us tell you that if you have a gas connection from any other company, then you will get the cylinder from the company’s distributor only if you book through its app or website.
How customers can book LPG cylinder
- Login by visiting the mobile app or IOC’s portal.
- After this the complete list and rating of LPG distributors will be shown.
- Click on the desired distributor name.
- After filling the details sought, the cylinder will be booked.
- You can also book refill from the government app UMANG.
- Payment of refill booking can be done from Bharat Bill Pay System App.
- Apart from this, payment can also be done from Amazon and Paytm.
