This curfew will be imposed from 6 o’clock in the evening to 6 o’clock in the morning and during this time only delivery will be allowed. The new restrictions will continue for a week and next Friday, after the review of the situation by the administration, new steps will be announced. Religious sites, hotels and bars, shopping malls and movie theaters will remain closed for the next seven days. Divisional Commissioner of Pune Saurabh Rao has given information about this. Durg district administration in Chhattisgarh has decided to lockdown the district from April 6 to April 14.

Home delivery permission
He said that during this time home delivery of edible goods, medicines, and essential goods will be allowed. Among the most infected areas of the country, Pune is the most affected. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar warned on Friday that ‘stringent measures’ would be taken if the situation of Covid-19 in Pune does not improve in a week. The Deputy Chief Minister asked the people to strictly follow the Covid-19 protocol. He re-emphasized applying masks, maintaining a distance of two yards, and washing hands frequently. He said that in view of increasing cases of infection, the state has decided to take 50 percent of beds of private hospitals under its control.
