Patna: From the financial year 2021-22, the government is preparing to give self-help allowance to 12th lakh youth. The order has been issued by the Planning and Development Department. In the order issued, it has been said that the Chief Minister’s Self-Help Allowance Scheme is to be extended for the next 5 years i.e. from 2021 to 2026.
As per the earlier terms and conditions, self-help allowance has been ensured in the account of the beneficiaries. Under this scheme, the 12th pass of 20 to 25 years will be given assistance allowance for the purpose of helping the unemployed in search of employment. Allowance is to be given to those youth who have not studied after 12th and not enrolled in the next class. have taken. The beneficiaries are given an allowance for a maximum of 2 years according to 1000 months.
The scheme was started in the year 2017, under which more than 5 lakh youth have been benefited so far. Under this, more than 650 crore has been paid into the bank account of the youth. 150 crore 750 crore is expected to be paid every year in the next financial year 2021 to 2026.
This amount will also be paid to the already selected beneficiaries. If more applications also come then there will be no rejection. According to departmental sources, if the application exceeds the estimate, it will not be rejected. Payment of allowances will be started after scrutiny of documents. Online applications can be made to take advantage of the scheme. For this, district registration and counseling centers are already working in all the districts.
