Noida: Five people committed suicide due to mental stress in various police station areas of Gautam Buddha Nagar district. A police spokesperson said that a teenager living in Bishanpura village of police station Sector 58 area jumped from the third floor of her house on Wednesday morning. He was rushed to the district hospital in Noida in critical condition where he was declared dead by doctors.
He said that a young man named Sanjeev (23), residing in Chaura village of Thana Sector 24 area, allegedly planted a fan on his house last night. The family took him to a hospital in critical condition where doctors declared him dead. Salman (22) son Ilyas, who lives in Salarpur Colony in Thana Sector 39, allegedly committed suicide by punching a fan at his house last night due to mental stress. He said that the police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem.
Yogesh (39) son Bhagwan Shankar Bajpai, who lives in Bisarkh police station, committed suicide by hanging his house with a fan. He said that a student named Yash, who lives in Khoda Colony, allegedly ate poison. He was rushed to a hospital in Noida in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead. Police station Sector 58 police have taken the body and sent it for postmortem. Police is investigating all the cases.
