Ahmedabad: In Gujarat, pre-monsoon showers continued to lash several parts of Saurashtra and Southern parts of the state. Heavy downpour was witnessed in parts of Amreli, Gir Somnath, and Bhavnagar districts today. AIR correspondent reports coastal districts of Saurashtra region continued to get pre-monsoon showers.
Maximum 70 millimeters rain recorded in Dhari taluka of Amreli district. According to the state flood control room, 60 talukas of Saurashtra and South Gujarat have received light to moderate rain during the past 24 hours. Out of these, 26 talukas have received more than 25 millimeters of rain. The local Weather office has predicted light to moderate rains with thunderstorms at isolated places in the state during the next 24 hours.
