New Delhi: ‘Yashobhoomi’, India’s largest convention and expo center, is ready to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi for its inauguration on Sunday. The India International Convention and Expo Center (IICC) is located in Dwarka Sector 25, New Delhi, and boasts a stunning design, modern amenities, and impressive LED video walls. It is part of Phase 1 of IICC, which aims to become a global destination for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE).

The project covers a vast area of over 8.9 lakh square meters, with over 1.8 lakh square meters of built-up space. This makes it one of the largest MICE facilities in the world, surpassing Bharat Mandapam, which hosted the 18th G20 summit in India. The convention center spans 225 acres of land, while Bharat Mandapam occupies only 123 acres.

The convention center is equipped to host mega events at national and international levels, such as the G20 summit. It has 15 conference rooms, including a main auditorium, a Grand Ballroom, and 13 meeting rooms. It can seat up to 11,000 delegates at a time. The auditorium features a state-of-the-art automatic seating system that can adjust the floor level and seating arrangement according to the event.
