New Delhi: Hyundai has launched the facelifted version of its popular hatchback i20 in India. The new i20 has a completely new design that resembles the European model. It also has best-in-class features and a more powerful and peppy engine than before.
The new i20 has a new front grill and bumper, triangular LED headlamps with LED DRLs, and a dual-tone rear bumper with silver skid plate. The car also has new 16-inch alloy wheels.
The interior of the new i20 is quite premium, with a dual-tone theme. It has a large infotainment system, a 7-speaker Bose audio system, a digital driver display, a 4-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting, TPMS, and Hyundai’s BlueLink connectivity suite. The car also has many safety features like 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking camera, rear parking sensor, and TPMS.
The company has discontinued the 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine that was earlier available in the i20. Now the car has a 1.2 liter 4 cylinder petrol engine that generates 82 bhp of power and 115 Nm of torque. The car has both automatic and manual gearbox options. The car is available in 7 variants.
