
New Delhi: IDC’s third-quarter global smartphone market data showed that there were 353.6 million shipped units. This is a drop of 1.3% from 358.5 million units in the same period last year. Xiaomi’s shipments in the third quarter were increased by 42% year-on-year to 46.5 million units, ranking third.

Canalys’s global smartphone market Q3 report data shows that in Q3 2020, global smartphone shipments fell 1% year-on-year and increased 22% month-on-month. Lei Jun pointed out, ‘In the third quarter of 2020, Xiaomi shipped 47.1 million units, becoming the third largest smartphone shipment in the world.’
