Bengaluru: A day after Chandrayaan-3 entered the lunar orbit, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Sunday released a video of the moon ‘as seen by Chandrayaan-3’.

The space agency released the video with the caption, “Chandrayaan-3 mission: Moon as seen during Chandrayaan-3’s entry into lunar orbit.” It is seen in the video that there are many pits of blue-green color on the moon. The video was released a few hours before the second major activity that is scheduled for late Sunday night.

The spacecraft has covered almost two-thirds of the distance of the Moon since its launch on July 14 and the next 18 days will be crucial for the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). ISRO shared the message received from the satellite with its centers, which read, “MOX, ISTRAC, this is Chandrayaan-3. I feel the gravity of the moon.

It said, “Chandrayaan-3 has been successfully placed in the Moon’s orbit. It was directed from the Mission Operations Complex (MOX), ISTRAC (ISRO Telemetry, Tracking, and Command Network), Bengaluru.
