New Delhi: The richest cricket board in the world is the BCCI. Despite the worldwide corona virus epidemic, the BCCI has managed to organize its T20 League IPL in the UAE. However, in view of the safety of the players, a bio-secure bubble has been prepared with very strong arrangements. BCCI has spent a lot of money on all this. While crores of rupees are being spent on IPL, in India, BCCI is in the mood for cost cutting. To cut spending, he has decided not to increase the contract of 11 coaches in NCA.

NCA coach becomes unemployed
According to the news of the Indian Express, for the first time after Corona, the BCCI has taken a big step towards cuts. The annual contract of 11 NCA coaches has not been extended and these include five retired India players Ramesh Pawar, SS Das, Hrishikesh Kanitkar, Subroto Banerjee and Sujit Somsunder. Rahul Dravid, who has held the post of head coach of NCA, had informed everyone about this last week. Including the salary of all these, the BCCI used to spend Rs 30-55 lakh.

Coaches were not already aware
Some coaches said that they were not told about this in advance nor was it given the exact reason for it. He said, ‘We got a call two days ago from Rahul Dravid, who told that the BCCI has decided not to extend our contract. For the last three months, we have been organizing webinars, planning for the future and in the meantime we were suddenly told that we are no longer needed.

NCA has been completely closed since the month of March due to Corona virus. Last month, BCCI’s annual contract players reached NCA for practice. In 2019, at the behest of Rahul Dravid, the COA linked the new coaches to the NCA to reduce the burden of the already working coaches.
