
Mumbai: In view of the rising cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), Mumbai Police has imposed new Restrictions. In order to curb the movement and gathering of people, the police have implemented section 144 of the CrPC in the city. These restrictions have been implemented with immediate effect and will continue till 30th September. During this time, the police have given permission to leave only in urgent work and emergency.
Earlier, after the havoc of Corona in April and May, Mumbai began to get some relief from the epidemic in June-July. But now once again new cases have gained momentum. In the entire state of Maharashtra, a record 23 thousand cases have been reported within 24 hours.

Meanwhile, India has become a global epicenter of the Covid-19 epidemic. The number of corona patients in the country has crossed 51 lakhs. At present, the number of active cases in the entire country is about one million.
