The saint’s funeral will take place at 4:00 p.m. today at the Bhatyan Ashram, located on the sacred banks of the Narmada River. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is expected to attend the last rites, signifying the respect and reverence Sant Siyaram Baba commanded.
In recent days, Chief Minister Yadav had personally instructed the District Collector, Karmaveer Sharma, to monitor the saint’s health through daily video calls with doctors and ashram aides. On Monday, Congress leader and former Union Minister Arun Yadav also paid a visit to the ailing saint, underscoring the deep bipartisan respect he garnered.
