Yes, Leopard was seen near a bridge in Gangotri National Park, then he also went back to the forest. It is worth noting that trap cameras have been installed in the park to keep an eye on the movement of animals. Apart from Snow Leopard, bears, musk deer, Himalayan Red Fox has also been seen this time.
Along with this, trap cameras have also been installed at different places in the Joshimath range of Nanda Devi National Park. At the same time, pictures of a snow leopard have also been captured in these trap cameras. However, these pictures are being told of February 2. After the snow leopard’s picture was captured on the camera, the wildlife lovers and the forest department are very excited about the possibilities of their occurrence in this area. On the other hand, Prem Ballabh Sharma, Deputy Conservator of Forests of Nanda Devi National Park said that in many areas, pictures of snow leopards along with other animals have also been captured in trap cameras, such as Himalayan Thar, Bharal, and Red Fox. People are currently excited by these pictures.
In this regard, Deputy Director of the park RN Pandey also said that the movement of wildlife is being seen in trap cameras installed in Nelong valley. Describing it as positive, he said that the park administration exists only from the wildlife. He also added, “The trap cameras will be inspected again sometime soon, now we expect to capture more number of wildlife pictures and videos. ,
