Name of city of MP has changed, now Nasrullaganj of Sehore district become Bhairunda

Bhopal: The process of renaming cities is still going on in Madhya Pradesh. The state government has now changed the name of Nasrullaganj, a city in the Sehore district. The government has now changed its name to Bhairunda. The notification to change the name was issued by the government. The government sent a proposal to change the name of Nasrullaganj to the Center a few months ago. On this, the approval of the Union Home Ministry was received.

Significantly, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced to change of the name of Nasrullaganj in a program on 2 April. This city belongs to Budhni, the assembly constituency of CM Shivraj. He will participate in the Pride Day program of Nasrullaganj Municipal Council of Sehore district on Sunday evening. From Sunday itself, the name of Nasrullaganj will be changed to Bhairunda in government documents.

CM will give the gift of crores
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the unveiling plaque. During this, for the development and beautification of the city, he will perform bhoomi pujan and inaugurate several construction and development works worth Rs 80 crore 94 lahks. In these, Bhoomi Pujan will be done for 16 construction works costing Rs 76 crore 25 lakh 51 thousand. Similarly, CM will also inaugurate two construction works worth Rs 4 crore 68 lakh 50 thousand.

Earlier, the Shivraj government had changed the name of Hoshangabad to Narmadapuram. Habibganj railway station has been changed to Rani Kamalapati. The name of Bhopal’s Minto Gaol has been changed to Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Centre. The state government has changed the name of Bhopal’s Islam Nagar to Jagdishpur. The government can also change the name of Jabalpur’s Dumna airport. For this, the Shivraj government has proposed and sent it to the central government.
