Collage in Srinagar imposed fine of Rs.5000 for Watching India vs Pakistan match in group

New Delhi: Asia Cup 2022 has started. At the same time, today the high voltage match of this tournament is going to be played. Today there is going to be a tough competition between India and Pakistan. The people of both countries are very excited about this match. Meanwhile, it has been reported that the National Institute of Technology (NIT) located in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir has forbidden students from watching today’s match. With this, the students have been ordered not to post any posts related to today’s match on social media.

This notice has been issued by the Dean of Students Welfare. In which the institute administration has asked the students to stay in their rooms during the match. The notice issued by the Dean said, “Students are aware that a cricket series of different countries is going on at the Dubai International Stadium. The students are instructed to take the game as a sport and not create any kind of indiscipline in the institute/hostel.

Along with this, during the match, students have been ordered to stay in the allotted rooms in their hostels and other students should not be allowed to enter any other student’s room and watch the match in the group.

The NIT, in its notice, said, “If there is a group of students watching a match in a particular room, the students to whom that particular room has been allotted will be denied hostel accommodation of the institute and all the students involved in it.” But a fine of not less than Rs 5000 will be imposed.
