In this sequence, senior Sky News journalist Stuart Ramsay and his associates were attacked. The attack took place on Monday when he was returning to the capital Kyiv from another city. Stuart Ramsay and a colleague were shot in the attack, who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. At the same time, the attack has been blamed on Russia’s Hit Squad. The video of this incident has gone viral on social media.

Sky News journalist Stuart Ramsay told about this attack that, I and my four companions were returning to Kyiv after canceling a tour of another city. Then suddenly there was a blast in front of our car, after which we stopped there. After that, she started firing indiscriminately.”

He further said, “We all hid down to avoid the bullets but bullets started coming inside by breaking through the car door, dashboard. We tried to escape by opening the gate but suddenly we could not manage to escape due to a barrage of bullets.

They kept shouting “JOURNALISTS JOURNALISTS” but the bullets kept penetrating the car, the camera kept on.

In this shootout, Ramsay was hit with one bullet below his waist, while one of his associates received two bullets. The other two managed to escape. Ramsay told that this attack happened when we were going towards the city of Buka, about 30 miles from Kyiv.

After this attack on Monday, all his companions, including Ramsay, have gone back to Britain. He further said that, as soon as the attack happened, we went to a nearby factory to save our lives and hid there until the Ukrainian police arrived.
