Dubai: Pakistan’s Asif Ali and Afghanistan bowler Farid Ahmed were charged 25 percent of their match fees for clashes on the field during the Asia Cup Super Four stage match. A fine has been imposed. Both were found guilty of a Level 1 offense of the ICC Code of Conduct.
According to the ICC statement, Ali violated Section 2.6 of the ICC Code of Conduct which deals with obscene, offensive, or derogatory gestures during an international match.

At the same time, Farid was found guilty of a breach of section 2.1.12 which deals with improper physical contact with a player, support staff, umpire, match referee, or any person.
