WhatsApp provides a simple solution by allowing users to automatically share their status directly to Facebook Stories. This means you don’t have to manually post the same content on both apps. You can just create a status update on WhatsApp and choose to share it directly to your Story on Facebook without leaving the messaging app.
How to activate the feature
To easily share your WhatsApp status on Facebook, you will first have to link your social media account with WhatsApp. This can be done by selecting the ‘Share my status across my accounts’ option in Status Privacy Settings. This option will ask you to verify your Facebook account and grant permission to WhatsApp to access your Story. Once this feature is activated, your status will automatically be shared on both platforms simultaneously.
How to use the feature
To use this feature on Android, follow these steps:
- Open WhatsApp and tap on the Updates button at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Tap on the Status option at the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap on the My Status option to create a new status update or select an existing one from the list.
- Tap on the three dots icon at the top right corner of the screen.
- Select Share to Facebook from the menu.
- Tap on Share Now to post your status update on Facebook Stories.
To use this feature on iPhone, follow these steps:
- Open WhatsApp and tap on the Updates tab at the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Tap on the My Status option to create a new status update or select an existing one from the list.
- Tap on the eye icon at the bottom left corner of the screen to see who has viewed your status.
- Tap on More at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Select Share to Facebook from the menu.
- Tap on Share Now to post your status update on Facebook Stories.
