First royal bath of Haridwar Mahakumbh on Mahashivratri today

New Delhi: Today is the first royal bath of Mahakumbh starting at Haridwar on the special occasion of Mahashiratri. All preparations have been completed on behalf of the state government and local administration regarding the royal bath. At the beginning of the royal bath, Juna Arena, Awaan Arena, Agni Arena and Kinnar Arena will reach Har Ki Pauri Brahmakund at around 11 am to take a bath. After this, at around 1 pm Niranjani Arena and Anand Akhara will take a bath at Har Ki Pauri Brahmakund. After this, at about 4 o’clock, Mahanirvani Akhara and Atal Akhara will bathe at Har Ki Pauri Brahmakund. During this time, there will be a rain of flowers on the devotees by helicopter.

In view of the royal bath of Naga Baba and the sadhus, common devotees have been allowed to bathe after 7 am. There is a lot of agile preparation from the police administration regarding the first bath of Mahakumbh. The administration is completely cautious about coronaviruses. Let us know that after 7 o’clock the Har Pauri area will be evacuated, after which the ghats will be cleaned. During this time, there will be a ban on anyone coming to the ghat.

In view of the royal bath of Mahakumbh, heavy security arrangements have been made. During the Mahakumbh, police have been deployed on a ruckus to avoid any kind of stampede. To ensure the security of the fair, the entire fair area is divided into 3 super zones, 9 zones and 25 sectors (including 1 GRP and 1 traffic sector). An Additional Superintendent of Police has been appointed in each zone and a Deputy Superintendent of Police in the sector. Special training has also been given to the policemen to avoid any kind of security in the system.

After getting the command of Uttarakhand, MP Tirath Singh Rawat officially took over as the Chief Minister on Wednesday. After this, the new Chief Minister in his first decision has instructed the devotees to shower flowers by helicopter in the first royal bath of Haridwar Mahakumbh (Haridwar Kumbh 2021) on the occasion of Mahashivaratri on Thursday.

In a meeting with senior officials of the government, Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that following the necessary precautions, it should also be ensured that the devotees visiting Kumbh should not face any kind of trouble. With this, he said, ‘Visitors can take a bath in the Ganges ji conveniently. The honor of saints is above all. Divinity and grandeur of Kumbh should be ensured.

Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that devotees will not be stopped. They will be given all facilities. Devotees coming from all over the world are welcome at Haridwar Kumbh. Not only this, during the meeting, the negative report of the corona at the entry point will also no longer be checked. Apart from this, the CM has also given instructions to fix the arrangements in the upcoming Chardham Yatra. Apart from this, he said that all of us together have to take the state towards development in which public representatives and officials have an important role. Officers should work with full potential. While the Chief Secretary of the state, Om Prakash, DGP Ashok Kumar and other senior officials were present in this meeting besides the state president and MLA Banshidhar Bhagat.

Please tell that before the first Shahi Snan to be held on March 11 on the occasion of Mahashivaratri in Haridwar Kumbh, the Trivandra Singh Rawat government had issued an SOP. According to the SOP, it will be necessary to bring the Kovid-19 negative report and health certificate at the royal bath on March 11. Without this, you will not get an entry in Haridwar. The state government’s SOP will be applicable for 10, 11 and 12 March.

There will be a ban on Bhajan and Bhandare
According to the state government’s SOP, there will be a ban on any kind of Bhandara at the bathing ghats for devotees and tourists. Not only this, but it is also forbidden to sing bhajans by crowding. If any devotee or passenger violates the rules, then action will be taken under the Disaster Management Epidemic Act.
