Haridwar: The Mahakumbh (Haridwar Mahakumbh 2021) started in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, started on April 1. But despite the Corona epidemic, devotees are reaching the Kumbh Mela in large numbers. Here, the Uttarakhand government has also issued a Covid Guideline for the prevention of corona infection, due to which the saints are looking angry. Especially before Shankaracharya Jagadguru Swami Swaroopananda Saraswati’s entry into the Mahakumbh region, his successor Swami Avimukteshwarananda has expressed his open displeasure on the official guidelines of Corona.

Swami Avimukteshwaranand, while talking to the media, has raised questions on the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued for the corona. He said that “when there can be electoral meetings without restraint and corona report, then why not Kumbh to be held in twelve years?” Swami Avimukteshwarananda bluntly asked why the government is making coercive rules for bringing the Covid test report. Due to which the devotees are unnecessarily upset and they are being stopped at the border. Mahakumbh’s message is not going well among the devotees due to the problems being faced at the border.

Government is changing the decision repeatedly: Swami Avimukteshwaranand
According to Shankaracharya Jagadguru Swami Swaroopananda Saraswati’s successor, Swami Avimukteshwarananda, the government’s lukewarm attitude towards Mahakumbh is overshadowing Kumbh. He said that sometimes the government says that the Maha Kumbh will not happen in a grand way. Sometimes the government says that sage saints should not gather too much. Sometimes the government says that Kumbh will be open. And now the government is asking devotees to come to Kumbh region with a 72-hour coronavirus investigation report. In such a situation, so many things of the government are confusing the devotees. And the devotees are hesitant to come to the Maha Kumbh.

Millions are being crowded in election rallies, but where is the Corona report

Swami Avimukteshwaranand raised the question that during the election rallies in Bihar, Bengal, Assam and Kerala elections, a crowd of millions is gathering. How many people in this crowd have corona test report? How can it be that coronavirus is spreading only due to the arrival of people in Mahakumbh. Swami Avimukteshwaranand said that the government should keep a guideline for the entire country.
